The Spellbound

The pernicious ideologies of Jewish Zionism and Christian Zionism are hard ‘at work’ in the world. Given the far-reaching impact of these high hubris belief systems it’s useful to dissect their core tenets.

Jewish Zionism

The blueprint for Jewish Zionism, born in late 19th century Europe, is The Greater Israel Project, heard in the refrain, “from river to the sea.” Championed by the Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, it lays out a coercive take-over of all lands from Nile to the Euphrates river. Palestine, Lebanon, parts of Jordan, Syria and Iraq are countries designated ultimately to become Israel. 

The creator of Jewish Zionism,Theodor Herzl,a Hungarian journalist and lawyer, was a securalist and first introduced this concept in 1897. His primary intent was to find a homeland for all Jews. 

In the Bible, Herzl found credence to a concept called the Greater Israel Project. This prophecy from the Book of Genesis, and in other scriptures, claimed the land from the Nile River in Egypt to the Euphrates, known as Canaan, as rightfully belonging to the Jewish people. Thus, substantiating the notion the Jewish people were the Chosen Ones. 

Christian Zionism

Christian Zionism, Jewish Zionism’s cousin, is a theology rooted in 17th century Puritanism called eschatology. Derived from the Greek words, eschatos (study of the last things) and logia (the reason) this flavor of Zionism is founded in the End of Times and the Second Coming of Christ. Its tenets are prophesied in Biblical verses and combine theology and politics advocating the restoration of the Jewish people to Cannan. For the End of Times to occur and for Christ to return, there must be an Israel, a homeland for Jews. 

Many 19th century and 20th century British parliamentarians, Churchill for one, advocated for creation of a state for the Jewish people. Some early players in the movement on both sides of the Atlantic are John Darby, Cyrus Scofield, and William Blackstone. 

Darby was a 19th century Irish preacher who touted the practice of eschatology. 

Cyrus Scofield, an American 19th and 20th century minister and lawyer created a Bible which carries his name. He, like Darby, believed in dispensationalism, which advocates a strict interpretation of the scriptures of the Old Testament over the New Testament.

William Blackstone was an American evangelist, who petitioned President Harrison in 1891 for a Jewish Homeland in Palestine, claiming Jesus is coming.

Before the founding of Israel in 1948, the Balfour Declaration of 1917 set the foundation for the Israel state. Named after the then-British foreign secretary, Lord Arthur Balfour, with a financial backing from France's banking family the Rothschild’s, the Declaration was written when Britain was in need of money for WWI. It laid out the need for a Jewish state in what was called Palestine. The rights of the 90 percent of non Jewish peoples living there then, it claimed, would be protected. 

Despite the intent of the 1917 Declaration and following the creation of Israel thirty one years later, some seven wars with neighbors have followed. Each conflict had the support of western powers and expanded the size of the land ceded to Israel, all for the orgasmic divine assurance of a Greater Israel for the Jewish Zionist and the Christian Zionist. 

Shackled to dogmatic passages in the Bible, claiming eternal life for believers, the Christian Zionist has anointed Israel as the magic land. Zion, as Israel is called, is the consecrated ground for Jesus’ descent in his Second Coming. It is the sacred ground for believers, who, spell bound, will rise in the clouds to heavens to an ever-lasting life.

In the US there are upwards to 30 million Christian Zionist, most of whom are members of protestant evangelical churches. It is unknown to what degree these evangelicals are believers in the Second Coming and a Greater Israel. 

But vocal in these beliefs are American Zionist lawmakers Tom Cotton, Lindsey Graham, Mike Pence, Michelle Bachman, Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabee.

Other architects of this narrative are persons in the media and movie industry, as well as in world banking.

The Marriage 

The practice of believing in the Second Coming of Jesus and that the Jewish people need a homeland in itself is not fatal to persons of the world. 

But these two doctrines of Zionism working together, are a poison soup, steeped in smugness and superciliousness. The product of their union: billion dollar wars, dislocating millions of persons from their lands and countless deaths.

This poison soup of the Greater Israel Project and eschatology of the End of Times, is canned with the money from the west for warfare.  

Selling the soup in America is The AIPAC, American Israel Public Affairs Committee, Christians United for Israel (CUFI). One is long known for donating millions of dollars to Congresspersons, some three hundred and sixty one (361) lawmakers in 2024.

This circular scheme of the Christian-Jewish Zionist alliance delivers billions of dollars to Israel annually with US Congressional approval. Israel uses these monies to buy weapons from the US, and donate money to US Congresspersons campaigns, who vote accordingly. Money keeps coming to Israel, which in turn keeps the weapon makers in the US in business. 

According to the Council on Foreign Relations web site,the US has sent 22 billion dollars of American weapons to Israel since Oct. 2023 when it was attacked by Hamas, an anti Israel terrorist group. Since Israel became a state the US has appropriated hundreds of billions of dollars to Israel. It is the largest recipient of US aid.

This union between the US and Israel keeps the Jewish Zionist’s Greater Israel Project alive. And it allows the Christian Zionist to blind-eye the US Constitution’s secular doctrine of the Establishment Clause. Thus, trumping the fundamental principle of separation of church and state, so these Zionists can be saved and rise to the heavens. 

At-issue always for the Zionists, along with the globalists, is the matter of economics and sustaining the petro dollar, which condones foreign interventions for oil supremacy. To do so, this US administration needs a no naysayer, stand-and-salute contingency at home.

A story in Politico following a May 2026 election claimed, anti AIPAC Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie, always popular in his District, lost a primary election to a candidate heavily funded by Pro Israel groups. Oddly, one hundred percent more people voted in that election than in the 2024, where Massie handily won. Mail in ballots, some pontificators say, attributed to that outcome. 

The buying of elections has always been part of deep-state skullduggery. But now that blatant duplicity is witnessed by the common man, especially with legislation being instituted in some states against criticizing Israel. 

As the days turn, buildings in Gaza and Lebanon are leveled while the US administration is seemingly fickle in its obligation to 350 million Americans.

The issues of governance are many and the mindset of the voters vary. The question at the apex in the Comings will be, what is best for America?
